BACKGROUND

Disabled parking restrictions in front of 10172 Premier Avenue were requested by the property owner in 2006. The request was presented and approved by the Traffic Commission on March 7, 2006 and approved by the Mayor and City Council on April 19, 2006. The property has since been sold, and the new owner is requesting the removal of the parking restrictions as there is no longer a need for the on-street disabled parking restrictions.

FISCAL IMPACT

None

LEGAL REVIEW

The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed as to form.

CONCLUSION

The removal of the on-street disabled parking restrictions does not need to go before the Traffic Commission. City staff will remove the existing curb markings and the accompanying sign upon the approval of the proposed resolution.
