RECOMMENDED ACTION
Recommendation
Accept the subject project and authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County Clerk-Recorder’s Office.

BACKGROUND
The subject project, with the original bid amount of $580,950.00, was awarded by the Mayor and City Council on September 13, 2023. The contract has been satisfactorily completed by All Cities Engineering, Inc. The final contract amount of $610,929.06, which included contract change orders to address a couple of existing pavement depressions.
The scope of work involved the installation of new fire hydrants, water mains, curb, gutter, sidewalk, handicap ramp, trench paving, applying slurry type II, and installing striping and pavement markings.
FISCAL IMPACT
The total construction cost in the amount of $610,929.06, for the contract with All Cities Engineering, Inc., is budgeted in the CIP Account Number 55502-552400 “Citywide Waterline Improvements.”
LEGAL REVIEW
The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed as to form.
CONCLUSION
The contract has been satisfactorily completed by All Cities Engineering, Inc. The next step is for the City Council to approve the subject project and authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County Clerk-Recorder’s Office.
