Recommendation
Amend the approved City’s 7-Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project list for project reimbursement from OCTA to include the 2022 Catch Basin Screen Installation Project. end
BACKGROUND
The final 7-year CIP project list was approved by the Mayor and City Council on June 26, 2024. While reviewing the City’s Measure M2 eligibility package, Orange County Transportation Authority (“OCTA”) indicated that although the 2022 Basin Screen Installation Project has already been completed, OCTA’s reimbursement process is still ongoing. Therefore, OCTA asked the City to add the project to the 7-year CIP project list until the full reimbursement process is completed. The recommended action would accomplish that request.

None.
LEGAL REVIEW
The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed as to form.
CONCLUSION
It is necessary for the Mayor and City Council approve the attached amendment to the approved M2 7-Year CIP project list, adding the 2022 Catch Basin Screen Installation Project.
