BACKGROUND

The developer for the property located at 16390 Beach Boulevard, within the Pavilions Place retail shopping center, has constructed a new drive-through restaurant (occupied by Chick-fil-A). This project included the demolition of a building formerly occupied by Marie Callender’s. The previous development had an easement for a fire hydrant, valve, and the associated water line within the property. The new building location requires the fire hydrant to be relocated (Attachment 1). Therefore, the developer requests a quitclaim of a portion of the existing water easement, which is no longer needed, for the removed fire hydrant, valve, and the associated water line.

FISCAL IMPACT
