BACKGROUND

On June 25, 2025, the City Council approved four salary schedules as part of the FY 2025-2026 budget cycle. These schedules incorporated four newly created positions and their respective salary ranges. The updates were based on the 2023-2026 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)/Compensation Plans previously ratified by the Council.

The intent of the June 2025 action was to align the adopted salary schedules with the City's current compensation agreements.

After the approval of the salary schedules, staff identified administrative errors in three of the salary schedules. These errors include inaccuracies in salary range assignments, omissions, and formatting inconsistencies.  Staff has revised/added the salary schedules to correct these errors.

These revisions do not introduce new positions or salary adjustments beyond what was originally approved by Council, but merely correct the issues identified.

FISCAL IMPACT
