BACKGROUND

On July 16, 2025, the appellant, Supporters Alliance for Environmental Responsibility (SAFER) filed an appeal, appealing the Planning Commission’s decision to approve Case No. 2024-0160 and the associated Mitigated Negative Declaration. On Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2025, the appellant submitted additional documentation, providing additional documentation to support the appeal; City Hall was closed in observation of the holiday. At the regular City Council meeting of November 12, 2025, the City Council continued the subject action to the regular meeting of December 10, 2025 to allow the applicant time to review and respond to the additional documentation.

At this time, the applicant has requested a continuance to a date uncertain to allow for the applicant to address the issues raised by the appellant.

FISCAL IMPACT

The City Council’s action would not result in a direct fiscal impact.
